Share Award Deadline Fast Approaching – 10/18
The Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts Research Experience (SHARE) Award program supports undergraduate research projects in the social sciences, humanities, and arts. SHARE is designed especially for students in the earlier stages of their college careers as a means of introducing students to research in their chosen field and of developing skills they will need for further research projects.
Student-faculty teams apply jointly for $2,000 awards, which comprise a $1,500 student stipend and a $500 faculty mentor stipend. Faculty members are encouraged to identify early career students who would benefit from a SHARE apprenticeship and invite student apprentices to work with them on a potential SHARE project. Students interested in the program may also approach faculty members to express their interest in a potential SHARE apprenticeship.
More information on the SHARE Award can be found at https://ugradresearch.uconn.edu/share/.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021.
