The Western CT Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO is hiring a full time Field and Community Engagement Coordinator. The organization has indicated the position would be ideal for a recent graduate who is looking to launch their labor career. 

The WCTALF indicates they work to stimulate and coordinate communications and mobilization activity area-wide among affiliates and allies, through a network of community-based Chapters. They focus on supporting the legislative, political, organizing, and solidarity goals of the labor movement locally, statewide, and nationally. We are led by an elected President, and are governed by an elected Executive Board.

Starting salary $38,189; $450 monthly car stipend, extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance coverage, retirement package, and generous paid time off. (All compensation pursuant to collective bargaining agreement).Full application information can be found here:
