2020 CCM/CIRMA Paid Summer Intern Program
The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) and Connecticut Interlocal Risk Management Agency (CIRMA) have a wide variety of paid internships in municipal government available for the summer of 2020 and is actively seeking candidates for these positions.
The depth and diversity of this program provides students with “real life” work experience. The internships build upon academic studies with practical and substantive work experience and provide exposure to other aspects of a successful municipal league. In addition, many of CCM’s program participants have earned college credit for the work done at CCM.
Internships can include contact with mayors, first selectmen, and other municipal officials, state agency heads, state legislators, and federal agencies. Some of the final products generated by CCM’s inters have been widely disseminated throughout Connecticut.
CCM has a wide variety of paid internship positions. Available positions for the summer of 2020 are:
- Business Analytics
- Finance & Accounting
- Government Finance
- Human Resources
- Public Relations
- Risk Management
- Workers’ Compensation
